Claire-Louise who?

I was born in Worcester and started performing and playing the piano at a very young age with my early influences being artists such as Michael Jackson and Kylie Minogue. I went onto study performing arts at A level and then took a gap year where I travelled around the West Coast of America. I was lucky enough to meet some fantastic people and busked along Hollywood Boulevard which was a mad experience.  Returning from America I decided that being a performer was my ultimate goal and that I wanted to go to University in London.

I spent three fantastic years at Roehampton University studying for a dance degree which included contemporary and ballet. While studying at Roehampton I still pursued my passion for singing and performed anywhere and everywhere I could, which included supporting major acts in and around London. During my first summer break from Uni I went to Cyprus and got to perform in some great clubs in Ayia Napa and I also sang for the British troops in Protaras.

I love to sing so many different styles of music but I am particularly inspired by blues and soul, there are way too many artists to mention that inspire me but I love artists such as Christina Aguilera for her powerful voice and range, Alicia Keys for her song writing, Beyonce, Celine Dion, Eva Cassidy, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Marvin Gaye and so on and so on!

I also work as a model which is great fun I have worked for major companies and featured in music videos, commercials, advertising campaigns and films.  My TV work has also included performing backing vocals for some well known singers on programmes such as The Alan Titchmarsh show and Last Choir Standing. I am currently writing and recording in the studio but I love nothing more than being on stage!! I hope you enjoy my site and my songs and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter!
